I started playing CS in version beta 5.0 around December of 1999. Counter-Strike was only out about 6 months before I started playing. Maps like cs_backalley and de_train were just relaeased. de_cbble and de_aztec didn't even exsist. When I started playing, there were half the weapons in the game that there are now. Only the usp, glock, deagle, auto shotgun, shotgun, m4a1, AK-47, mp5 navy, TMP, awp, scout, G3/SG, PARA, and the NADE. No leagues/CPLs, just crazy PUB clans with crazy tags. It was all about fun, no professional aspect like today. Since then, I've attended 1 CPL (summer 2003) and a few small lans around my state. Now to my team list. These are just the teams you all might know of, minus the oldschool pub/clans.
