| I am a 60 year old male. I have wet the bed several times over the last year, and have had a few day time wettings as well. These have ranged from slightly dampened underpants to a full blown soaking. This especially seems to happen when I'm sitting for a period of time, such as on a long drive, at the movies or sometimes sitting at my computer, surfing the net. I'll feel the need to use the bathroom, but when I stand up to go, that need goes suddenly from "I need to go" to I'm about to pee in my pants. Three times I have wet my pants a little before I could get to the toilet and unfasten them, and I totally soaked them once. The only embarrsment so far was at a movie, when I just managed to get my pants unfastened before I completely soaked them, but I did have a wet spot. I've taken to wearing adult diapers whenever I go out, and I have an appointment with my doctor after the first of next year. Meanwhile the diapers have prevented embarrassment from wetting my pants. |
