Final Thoughts

Grand Theft Auto IV and Rockstar have made many promises. With all of the improvements and apparent upgrades, GTA IV could be a possible contender for 2008's Game of the Year, even though its release date might hamper that a little. There's just so much being promised under the hood that if it doesn't deliver and the game becomes just more of the same, GTA IV could be a monumental disappointment.

Yet given Rockstar's track record, this writer will hold judgment until after it's released.
