For those living under a rock, the first official season of Gears of War has ended in CAL with a new team on top. Team LGD Black has beaten all opposition to come out as the champions in this hectic field of amazing teams.

Defeating No Name Noobs in four maps to three, they are now the number one team in CAL come season two and have taken $1,800.00 from the prize pot. With MLG Dallas and WSVG Dallas coming very soon, this can be very helpful for the team to travel. Not only that, but this can surely have sponsors flock to them to cover anything else they need.

Not to leave out team N3, they walk away with over $1,200.00 which is still a very nice sum. This team surely to show up at WSVG Dallas and/or MLG Dallas, we can expect this team to tune their game even tighter in order to come out on top.
