Bigger news has recently hit the stands.  In addition to the 10th Anniversary of the Grand Theft Auto franchise on October 16th 2007,  a new chapter of GTA is to be released, labeled: "Grand Theft Auto IV: Liberty City".  With more focus on graphics and gameplay, GTA IV is bound to be the best Grand Theft Auto.

Grand Theft Auto IV starts a new chapter for Rockstar’s GTA line as a new character is presented,  Niko Bellic, an immigrant from Eastern Europe will now play the main character. Convinced by a cousin, Niko moves to Liberty City to start his “American Dream” in hopes to leave behind his life of murder and violence.  Unfortunately, these dreams are not as easy to achieve.

Unlike previous GTA titles, Liberty City will be enriched with a more graphical appeal.  Within the five new cities presented in GTA IV, you will find a more detailed landscape, as well as features; from individualistic buildings to more realistic pedestrians. Viewing these details will be easier than ever, with the addition of four different view choices.

Even though the new GTA will be ramped up, graphics wise, the game will not be lacking in plot and gameplay.  It is said to have a more important storyline than ever, while also making gameplay conditions change with the weather.

Another big step forward for GTA is the availability of a multiplayer mode.  Although,  Rockstar has responded by saying that GTA IV will not be a MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online).

Though some information is known, Rockstar has kept much of the information secretive, as even the first trailer to the game doesn't give any hint of what the storyline is like.  A highly anticipated second trailer will be available on the 28th of this month named “Looking For That Special Someone”. 

GTA IV,  being the fourth edition, is getting many people excited but also bored with the idea of another GTA.  Rockstar has shown that it is constantly striving for the best product possible from graphics to gameplay in the hopes of keeping the fans interested.
