I rarely have the opportunity to begin a game review with a hearty chuckle, but my friends over at Eidos are tempting me. The WWII drama Battlestations: Midway gives us a view on the horrors of war through the scope of a commander in the Pacific. Although several thousand games and movies have replicated WWII actions before, we find ourselves in the thick of another title. Just when we thought the war was over.

In the early in late 1930s-40s, there was a bad man named Adolf Hitler. To make a long story short he killed himself. One of the reasons that lead to his death was the allied forces, including the sleeping giant herself, the United States of America. Arguably one of the thorns in her side were the Japanese. And so our adventure begins.
