No, i tried to cancel it from xbox as well, and i have not been able to find a place to remove your card. Dr. Pepper, if you have your account save your credit card, it saves it and its impossible to change, so there is no way to NOT pay them, even if you have a - balance you still get charged resulting in a screwed over bank account (this actually happened to me). if you have monthly or a yearly contract, it will automatically renew itself.

Honestly you would think Microsoft would be smart enough to have an option to stop payments on the site without having to call in, in case of if the person really is mute or deaf.
Delete the credit card information on your hard drive. If i remember right you can cancel the subscription through the xbox site itself, or just contact the bank then the BBB ;)
they want you to call so they can ask why you are cancelling and so they can try and convince you to stay. a lot of big companies use this system because a lot of people wont go though the trouble of calling so they just continue to let the auto-payment take effect whether they are using the service or not.
when i had AOL like 10 years ago you had to call and cancel and everytime you called and wanted to cancel they would tell you about new features and upcoming things. then when i would say no i want to cancel they would be all like well how about this, we will give you 6 months free AOL for you to try these new features and if you still dont want our service then you call and cancel before the 6 months is up. well after like 2 years of trying to cancel AOL they kept giving me free 6 month subscriptions. after a while i just said screw it i dont want to have to remember to call them every 6 months so i cancelled for good.

remove it from your payment options in your microsoft account via microsoft.com i believe
