You should be fine. All of my friends, as well as myself, who have the new HDMI xbox 360's haven't had a RROD yet. Just make sure that you don't place your xbox on the carpet, place it on a table or a piece of wood or something like that. With any console, there are chances it could break. But the new Xbox 360's are pretty solid.

dont cram it in one spot, let it sit out somewhere and you won't get f u c ked over, and make sure you don't drop it. other than that, the only problem you can possibly encounter is a game f u c king your S H IT up. example: gta5
