how many prestiges are there? what prestige is everyone on and how long is it taking you to get through each of them. i'm on prestige 3 and it takes me a day and half to get thru one prestige.

i'm going for gold weapons now. it's not boring by any means. also, leagues. I can't be caught without particular setups for matches, so going for the gold weapons is keeping me occupied for the moment.
besides, the green icon (3rd prestige) is one of my favorites anyway. better to stall now than get that lame gold cross and be stuck there.

Some of my friends who have some time like to prestige because they like to keep trying different guns to get a feel which they are best at. I'm staying on my first because I've been hella busy with other stuff going on that I want to maintain my guns for matches and such.
Yo, Evan, HQ is sexy. However, if you get spawn fcked it sucks.
I'm the third prestige as well and I plan on staying there; as Evan said I don't want to get caught in certain situations w/o the appropriate guns, perks, whatever. Plus that deagle--yum.
HQ is just ugly. can't do anything that resembles decent or strategic play. you just get 3x nade'd from every direction by terrible kids. frustrating more than anything.
i'm at level 55 no prestige and 120ish headshots away from my gold ak~ i havent played all week mainly because i've been on spring break but i've had some time to xbox and i chose to fifa instead because of no hdtv :OO
but i'll get back into cod next week so i should ahve my gold ak in a few days :D~
#21 i worked my butt off so that i could buy one to take down to school with me (we get HD channels, too), and trying to play cod on non-hd after trying to play it on hd is really f*cking hard.
i'm ~110 headshots with an mp44 away from my gold ak...so no, i'm never doing prestige. i rarely play anymore (got hooked on fifa again ^^) so that'll probably take me till summer to get anyway.
acog snipers are a dark horse in this game, I am the only person i have ever seen use it and its amazing... If you get good with them no one can stop you.
bolt action = win. M40A1 rifle is the best in the game w/ stopping power on it. lower recoil for the same 1 shot kill as the .50 cal.
acog i don't like so much. i feel that i have more control with breathing and not bobbing all the time. if you're an acog fan (i have no idea why one would be) then a semi is the way to go.

its hella boring using the same gun to get camo's and gold's imo.
i like the challenge of starting a game over again with no weapons and such. gives me a great replay value. i also like to look cool.
