MLG has recently aired their ESPN Top ten video. At this point I think it is a very good step in the direction of E-Sports.
In regards to the situation with the prize distribution. As many of you already have heard from Sundance on his two hour interview, MLG does NOT make any money off their tours. While most CS and PC players know this many in the console community do not. Due to this they have made their prize structure relatively the same for the Halo 3 portion while decreasing the stops and prize money for Gears of War and Rainbow Six Vegas two. This has caused a stir in the communities leading to threads like this from top players of the two games ( http://www.mlgpro.com/forum/showthread.ph.. ).
Now how will this affect the MLG Stops this year? That is up for debate if any significant problems will arise but this is interesting to look at. This is my thoughts at this point. We will see what happens as MLG's 2008 seasons continues.
See you all at Meadowlands.
