well i new it would happen eventually, but i didnt think it would happen this fast. Less then 4 months after i got my xbox back cause of rrod, my xbox disc drive stopped reading discs. It happend over night too. I was up until like 2 am playing tf2 and when i woke up turn my box on and stick in cod4 it wont boot up and says unreadable disc...same with dvds or any other game. will i be able to call xbox and get a new one just as if it were the rrod promlem? ty in advance. i just got cod4 and rock band, what a shame.
How long have you had it? Under a year you're definitely covered. I got your msg earlier, but was in the middle of a match hah. And yeah, it is a shame.
Buy a 360 from wal-mart, say it's not working and re-pack the old one you had before that was broke, keep the clean one from wal-mart. let them handle the RRoD however they'd like.
a lot jankier than forcing the RRoD with a comforter or something.
