weird thing happening... when playing split screen co op mode for some reason it only displays a 4:3 box in the middle of the screen with black bars on the side... any idea what that's about?
i've found out that apparently the co-op mission if played locally is only available 480p... so you have to go into the xbox settings and change it to 480p for it to display in full screen... and then it looks trashy.
hmmm...yeah, I had the same problem. what you want to do is pour lighter fluid on the game disc (have matches handy). go ahead and light the disc on fire, go out and buy Call of Duty 4, and be glad I just saved you from the pile of sheet that is halo3.
he's talking about co-op on the same xbox, so you have it split horizontally.
the reason you have the black bars on the sides is to maintain the aspect ratio of the players' screen...this is so you don't have an ultra-wide and skinny screen to look at.

weird h3 display glitch
unplug / replug your hdmi cable
even if you aren't just replug in the video cables back in after a good unplug
