Nintendo Wii: Smash Brothers Tournament

Gamestop is hosting a Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament shortly after release for all of the soon-to-be addicted fans to compete.

Look for Super Smash Bros. Brawl to sell thousands of copies on March 9 when the game releases to the general public, and look for kids to lock themselves away for hours. If you think you have the skill ready to carry over from the Gamecube classic and will be a natural at SSBB on the Wii, then check out a tournament hosted by Gamestop.

The finals will take place on April 12 and will feature 8 winners from all over the country that will be flown to California to compete on stage for the chance to win a prize package that includes an LCD TV & Wii system with a bundle of games & $5,000 CASH.

First round matches will begin already on March 8.

This is good for the community but after doing some research it is a little sad that we cannot use Gamecube controllers at these tournaments, in addition to, unlocked characters that we all have spent time using in the japanese version. But I am sure this will be fun.
