Last month's issue of Nintendo Power reported that Mario Kart Wii will sport a 16-player online game mode -- they were wrong. Instead, the game will feature a 12-player online mode as confirmed by Satoru Iwata during the Nintedo press conference. This is the biggest online effort for Mario Kart thus far. As many of you know Mario Kart DS only had 4-player online battle, so this is a pretty big improvement. Keep it up Nintendo.
