Ever since the release of its incredibly popular DS, Nintendo has been unstoppable. Now with the Wii on board, it seems like they're on fire.
Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that the DS Lite has topped the hardware sales charts for months now. Now with the Wii on board it seems like Nintendo is unstoppable. The main selling point for the DS and/or Wii has been that anybody, at any age, is able to the play the innovative systems. This type of marketing seems to be doing the trick.

Nintendo has reported a record high fiscal year, which ended March 31st, 2007.
Here are some statistics taken from joystiq.com:

- consolidated fiscal year revenues of ¥966.5 billion, a 90% increase
- operating profits of ¥226.0 billion, a 150% increase
- 23 million Nintendo DS consoles last year, lifetime sales of 40 million
- 5.84 million Wii consoles in less than five months, "nearly" 29 million Wii games
