Each Monday Nintendo delivers popular games from the NES, SNES, N64, SEGA Genesis and NEC TurboGrafx Title: Super Mario World Original Console: SNES Cost: 800 Wii Points Number of Players: 1-2 Original Release: August 13, 1991 Description: When Mario and Princess, along with third-wheel Luigi, go on vacation to Dinosaur Land, Bowser captures the Princess and places a spell over the inhabitants of Dinosaur Land. Mario and Luigi are forced to spring into action and conquer the seven castles of Super Mario World. Along the way, the two are able to get help from Yoshis that are trapped in eggs. Mario and Luigi are able to ride Yoshi and eat koopas. Capes are used to fly in Super Mario World, much like racoon suits in Super Mario Bros. 3 for NES. Levels include secondary goals which will unlock bonus levels Star Road and Special Zone. In total, there are 72 worlds for gamers to enjoy and 96 exits that will allow for the end of the level. Title: Vigilante Original Console: Turbo Grafx-16 Cost: 600 Wii Points Number of Players: 1 Original Release: 1988 Description: When a gang kidnaps your girlfriend, Madonna (yes, this game is from the 80s), it's time to take on the gang and get her back. Stages include City Streets, Junkyard, Brooklyn Bridge and the Backstreets, and each has a boss at the end to be defeated. Title: Gain Ground Original Console: Sega Genesis Cost: 800 Wii Points Number of Players: 1-2 Original Release: 1991 Description: Set far in the future, the world has come to a time of great peace and harmony. However, when a computer designed to simulate a warlike experience goes crazy, it is up to you to rescue the hostages taken by the simulator. Gain Ground allows gamers to from twenty different characters, each with his or her own strengths. Each character offers different walking speed, normal and special weapons and even dexterity.
