Nintendo finally outdoes Ocarina of Time, with a Zelda game for the ages
Publisher: Nintendo The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Gallery Nintendo fans know that there’s nothing like tearing into a new Zelda game. Unfortunately, it’s usually a while between installments – there were four good years between Majora’s Mask and Wind Waker, and another four between Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, the latest game in the series. That’s an average of about only two games per decade, and yet, there are fans (this reviewer included) that fondly remember playing them all. So of course, the arrival of a new game in the series is quite an event. Countless fans stayed in lines overnight, or attended launch parties, just to get their hands on the Nintendo Wii, which is the home of this new Zelda game. And myself? Being fortunate enough to live in New York, I got mine from Nintendo World the day after launch, enduring a 2 hour wait and the bitter cold. Was it worth nearly getting frostbitten? |
