Nintendo Wii: Nintendo Announces Opera Trial

Nintendo's Opera internet browser is coming soon!
Nintendo has announced that the downloadable Wii internet browser, Opera, will be available this Friday (December 22nd) worldwide. Nintendo made the announcement on their website, along side a nice little webcomic illustrating that this version of Opera is only a trial.

According to the Nintendo press release, the full version of Opera can be expected March 2007. The web-browser will be available to download for free until June 2007. After that, the browser will cost 500 Wii Points ($5).

Also released today, the Wii Weather channel, known as The Forecast Channel was also made available. Users will be able to check the weather anywhere, via their Wii.
