At the stroke of midnight tonight our gamer brethren across the pond get their first chance to nab a Wii. Good luck, chaps! And watch where you swing those controllers! Admist the mounting excitement as the countdown to launch narrows on the two continents, Nintendo reportedly has been sending e-mails to customers containing warnings and recommendations for how to properly use the Wiimote. The number of incidents caused by overenthusiastic motions during gameplay has increased since the console's initial release. Sage advice was issued such as maintaining a minimum of three feet's distance from the television and ensuring your range of motion is free from obstructions (i.e. your mother's good china or the second player's head). Nintendo may remedy the problem by issuing a new strap for the Wiimote. --- Related: Wii Demand Still High at Local Wal-Mart | LAPTOP gives Nod to Wii's Innovation | Wiimote on HL2 |
