In the December 2006 special edition double-cover issue of Maxim, the internationally published men's magazine listed Nintendo's Wii at No. 67 in their "100 Ways to Rock The Holidays" feature, a guide to the top holiday buys this Christmas season.

Interestingly enough, Sony's PS3 was ranked slightly less favorably at No.68 and Microsoft's Xbox 360 with HD-DVD player even lower at #71. While interesting, this comes as no upset as the Wii just recently topped over 1 million units worldwide in a matter of two weeks.
