Reports are in, Q207. But is it soon enough?
According to
sources, Nintendo of America's very own Reggie Fils-Aime has confirmed in a recent interview on SpikeTV's
Game Head, that we can all expect to see the Wii running online multi-player games in Q2 of 2007. Currently, he admits, the only game with online multi-player was Japan launch title
Pokemon Battle Revolution. For those that are scratching their heads right now, no this does not conflict with earlier reports that Elebits will be
the first title to be online-enabled in the U.S. What has been revealed thus far about Elebits is online capability (downloading maps, transferring screenshots, etc.) and makes no mention of online multi-player.
Reggie would go on to reveal that a few of those upcoming games will be announced in Q1 of 2007, though here at DPAD we hope
Mario Strikers Charged! will be a part of those Q2 releases!
