Come inside to take a look at the preliminary best of the best Wii's Virtual Console has to offer as we countdown from 10 to 1 the most Wii Point worthy VC games of 2006.


When Nintendo of America announced just days ago that 12 Virtual Console games will make the Wii launch day, with an estimated 30 by by the end of the year, we knew this article just had to be done. From the time we first got wind of the Virtual Console system (and subsequently a Pulp Fiction style carrying case of classic controllers), to just recently Mark Bozon over on IGN slipping word of a mystery VC game of killer proportions, quite a bit of buzz has been building around Wii's VC. But with so many to choose from right out of the block, what is a retro fan boy to do?

Join us as we count down (from what we know) the top 10 Wii Virtual Console games of 2006, and even take a shot in the dark at what that mystery VC game might be. Hey, your guess is as good as ours, but it's a lot more fun this way now isn't it?
