Anyone else having a hard time connecting to Mario Kart Wii online? I keep getting a general error but I know my connection is good because I can get onto weather and other applications with internet updates and look on Wii Shop.

i dont get an error it just wont do anything. im not sure if i have to set anything up special in the settings or what though. its my first online game for the wii and i have it connected to the internet.
works now. at first i just never was able to connect.
someone add me i have no friends with this game yet. i want to make sure this online thing is working. 3351-446-8238. im guessing thats the number. ive never played an online game with the wii before and cant seems to find out how to play vs other people online. D:
nintendo's buddy system for online play is so useless and annoying, yea it works for japan because wii is the top selling system there and their major cities aren't as spread out as ours in America are. They need a system like xbox, match making would improve the online playing with the ability to later add those players as friends.
