I downloaded this last night for 800 points and told my wife how much fun I remembered it being and that she would love to play it. However, after playing 4 races, expecting each one to bring back more of the fun and excitement, I turned off the game with a feeling of disappointment.
What happened? Was I easily entertained in my youth or have I been brainwashed by flash games like Forza 2? I just didn't find F-Zero to be any fun last night.

it's funny, I randomly decided to fire up my emulator the other day and one of the first games I played was f-zero...I had fun with it for about 15 minutes then got bored, but originally I loved the game on SNES because of the graphics, speed, etc...which is pretty much a requirement for any game nowadays...so yeah, I think if I played forza 2 regularly f-zero would be hilarious.
