Sony Playstation 3: Gamer Disclaimer: Haze

What's Different About Haze
The traditional array of weaponry seen in first-person shooter games is here, with your standard assault rifles, pistols, shotguns, laser guns and missile launchers. Again, throwing knives are pretty pivotal as well, as they are effective when coated in Nectar or simply whipped from a distance at the Nectar holding-tanks lodged on the underside of Mantel soldiers' helmets.
Anyone up for a game of chicken?

The game revolves around one man's choice to turn his back on the Mantel ideal and join the rebels of "The Promised Hand". He's a hardened, twenty-five year old Mantel soldier named Shane Carpenter who, after several overdoses and episodes of Nectar withdrawal, refuses to succumb to the Nectar-infestation of the Mantel military. Shane tires of the Mantel organization sometime near the mid-point of the game and switches sides, giving the gamer a unique perspective of both sides of the battlefield, as both a Mantel soldier and a Promised Hand rebel. His former time with the Mantel organization has granted him vital knowledge of Mantel protocol and strategy, and the outnumbered rebels employ his information as they boldly battle to stand a chance against the might of the Mantel empire.

Shane is constantly fighting with a squad of three other soldiers, the roles of which can be played by up to three human players both online and offline at any time. In the absense of cooperative help, an advanced artificial intelligence system controls the other members of your squad. These soldiers have access to Nectar as well, both heightening the effectiveness of your squad and causing all of the soldiers to be succeptible to Nectar overdoses and, accordingly, sudden stints of uncontrolled fire and possible friendly casualties. Every squad member has to watch the other soldier's back; every member of the team is as pivotal as the next, and if one becomes corrupted, or "high" on nectar, everyone else is in danger too.
