Capcom blamed retailers for the more expensive price given to the Playstation 3 version of Devil May Cry 4. Kotaku writer Luke Plunkett has discovered otherwise, pointing at Capcom, the publisher of the game, for the differences in price.

So I went and checked my own Capcom release schedule (posted above) and hey, whaddya know, the recommended retail price for the PS3 version - suggested by Capcom, the publisher - is $10 more than the 360 one.

No reason as to why the Playstation 3 version is more expensive than the 360 version, but I'm sure Capcom will release a statement soon. Well, I hope they do.
