Even though it's rumored at this point, SCEE has gone on record saying that they have no plans to release a 120GB Playstation 3 SKU in Europe. This does two things: more than likely confirms a new PS3 SKU and screws Europe. Which is actually surprising since they're preparing to release PlayTV sometime soon. Then again, you can easily swap out your weak 80GB HDD for a bigger, more masculine HDD if need be, so who cares? But if this new SKU should include backwards compatibility - a feature dropped with the newer, cheaper 40GB SKU - I'd be sure to riot the streets.
