Earlier this week we reported (via Kotaku) that the FCC filed a new Playstation 3 model with a trimmed down body - two USB ports and no card readers - making those $400 PS3 rumors seem true, and my wallet happy.

On the Blu-Ray Savings page, the yet to be confirmed PS3 SKU (CECHG01) is displayed again. Another interesting thing to note is that the ad displays that the player purchase must be between October 1st, 2007 and January 31, 2008, and if done so, you will get five free Blu-Ray movies with your shiny, new player. Seems like we'll be seeing this new Playstation model before the holiday season.
