A few of the Insomniac developers took some time to do an interview with thedaily.com releasing some interesting information. R&C: ToD will be hitting stores here in the states around the end of October, no real surprise there. But did you know PS3 owners will be getting to download the demo October 4th?

Insomniac stated they learned a few valuable lessons from the success of Resistance: Fall of Man. “We also realized the importance of opening the game with a bang – and that’s just what we do in RCF.” One of the first thing gamers will notice when starting their adventure in R&C is the amazing graphics. “The first thing anyone playing the game will immediately notice is the beautiful, highly detailed worlds that we have brought to life in Ratchet & Clank Future…we get our physics and effects systems running roughly four times faster than it did in Resistance at nearly double the framerate, which is something you can see in weapons like the Tornado Launcher.”

The download will be showing gamers the begging level of the game as stated by Insomniac. “Players will get a sneak peek of this level via a downloadable demo that should hit the PlayStation Network Store in the not-too-distant future." This not too distant future is less than 30 days away.
