Sony Playstation 3: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in stores today!

One of the most popular RPG titles for the PC and Xbox 360 is now available to Playstation 3 owners.

After a long wait, Playstation 3 owners will now be treated to the first major Role Playing Game for the system. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has sold 1,630,000 copies for the Xbox 360 according to sales reporting site VG Charts. Such success on the Xbox 360 has made it the fifth best selling title ever for the Xbox 360, behind only Gears of War, Call of Duty 2, Ghost Recon and Madden NFL 07.

Oblivion may not be available today in all major retailers, but can be purchased below through Price Grabber at a discount with fast and free shipping in many cases.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblvion released in March 2006 for the PC and Xbox 360.

an absolutely stunning rpg game. PS3 players u will enjoy this one!!!!!!! i have it on 360. still play it even though ive done every last thing there is to do (except i havent explored every cave/ayleid ruined fortress which is my last goal and im workin on it now)

Saw the 360/PS3 graphics comparison on Gamespot.com PS3 seemed noticeably brighter and more vivid in Oblivion.

#2 , is that supposed to make PS3 oblivion players feel bad? If they haven't played it yet on PC or whatever, then it's a whole new game for them to explore, who gives a crap if others have played it on another console.

#1 hey, I beat that game a year ago. wait, why buy a ps3 for oblivion when it is $30 on the xbox 360 and you could play it on pc? are you secretly from sony defense force?

Actually on the back of the game Oblivion it states: "Plays and looks better on the Playstation 3 port."

But they did have 6 months to reprogram it for the stronger console.
