In the United States and Japan the Playstation 3 sold out in record time this past year. While console sales slipped in the months following the initial launch, the scarcity of supply at launch was felt by gamers who suffered through cold temperatures or burning sunlight for days waiting in line.

To avoid the same problem on the March 23rd European release date, the website Play.com is promising to have the console in stock for gamers, pleding to deliver consoles to gamers.

Head of the games Gian Luzio explained, "We have been working hard with Sony to make sure that we can deliver every pre-order on the release date , We are pleased to be able to offer our customers the service they expect from Play.com"

Gamers can also expect to see a bundle package available from Play.com, which is already available for preorder. The package will include MotorStorm™, Resistance: Fall of Man™ and Genji™. The whole package is just £524.99 and is available to pre-order immediately.
