Namco’s Tekken 5 on the PSP is coming to the PS3. Though it is not currently available in the US, Dark Resurrection is currently available to Japan and Hong Kong Playstation 3 owners via the Download store. The game seems to be a complete version of the arcade release bringing gamers all the excitement they have come to love from Tekken. The cost for this version is one of Sony’s highest from the Download store, coming in at $17 US or 2,000 yen.

Dark Resurrection is the latest update of Tekken 5. Gamers will get to experience it in widescreen and 1080p. Tekken fans will get to play in 3 modes; arcade battle, ghost battle and versus mode. Dark Resurrection offers all the characters from T5, which are immediately playable, and Dark Resurrection for the PSP. Jinpachi, the final boss in the game, will also be available for play. As the PSP version was a huge hit in Japan and the US, gamers can expect to see the PS3 download in the US some time in the near future.
