Fans of the Devil May Cry series have been eagerly awaiting the next installment for their chance to battle demons with Dante once again. Remaining exclusive to Sony, Devil May Cry 4 will appear on Playstation 3 late in 2007. There is one problem though; Dante is not the main character of DMC4.

Not only is Dante not the main character, he is actually the enemy, or so it seems. In DMC4, you control a new character Nero, the leader of a group who wishes to resurrect Sparda. Nero is very similar in looks and combat to Dante, but there are some differences. There is still much to be learned about Nero’s story, but TGS 06 let us in on some gameplay changes that are exclusive to Nero. The main change is Nero’s Demon Fist. The Demon Fist can be used to perform a simple punch by taping the circle button, or if used with the analog stick can grab multiple enemies and actually pull them in closer. Perfection of the Demon Fist will produce some devastating combos, which yes, are still accompanied with ranks like “Come on!” and “Do It”
