Aside from the the number ratings, we will also rate each game by the categories that will follow. Each category is rated out of 5, in 0.5 increments. The overall score will be the addition of the 6 categories, then divided by 6 for the final result. If a game does not meet a particular category such as Online/Multi-player, the overall score will be divided by 5 instead. Here are the descriptions for each category.

Gameplay: The overall flow and feel of the game. Is it tough to move? Do most of the functions make sense and work with the game correctly? Are there big issues with invisible walls or collision detection?

Story: Every game should have a story for you to follow, so if its good and has some depth, you'll see a higher score.

Graphics: How are the graphics? Smooth textures, great animation and natural body or character movement will obviously help out this rating

Sound: The music, sound effects and voice-overs are suitable for the particular game.

Online/Multi-player: If there is online capability or a multi-player aspect to the game, is it any good?

Value: This covers 2 particular items. 1) Is this game worth the money? Lets face it, games are expensive! If you're going to shell out some cash for this, it better be worth it. 2) Repeat value. No one wants to play a game once and be done with it forever, lower ratings will lead you to believe you may be in for a one-timer.

4.0 - 5: Our hats go off to this game, truly a masterpiece. This game was flawless in every respect and deserves your attention as soon as humanly possible

3.0 - 3.9: This game had a very strong showing, however there could have been some minor changes to make it a home-run. A solid game indeed, and worth the purchase, but if only it had a few more options.

2.0 - 2.9: Mediocre is a strong word, this game did what it had to do and turned out as average. Don't be fooled by this rating, it has entertainment value, but its not at the level of a great caliber game.

1.0 - 1.9: You more than likely will not be recommending this game to a friend, wellwisher, aquaintance or even the deceased. Unfortunately this game lacked value in almost every way. If this game is played, it won't be for long.

0 - 0.9: Ashamed for even touching this title, it deserves our lowest ranking. The only good thing to come out of this game was the shrink wrap it came in, which you can promptly wrap around your head in hopes of suffocating yourself.
