Soooooo, yea. Sony add's in-game TEXT chat, but not voice chat, a new way to categorize your friends list and some video stuff.

If there is, surprised they didn't advertise it in the video. They didn't show background chat, only background text, and the guy never said "you can do this with voice too!"

Yea, voice doesn't work. Only text runs in the background, chat brings you to the usual chatroom.

i say just take ps2 off the market, add sw bc, and give ps3 a pricecut. whateva.

I so want bc on my ps3, how come you can have software emulators for the ps2 on pc and not the ps3??

I agree with #12. Makes no sense on why they don't do that, considering the hardware was originally made to work with BC for PS and PS2.

I always thought firmware meant an update to a chip in the hardware, but yeah, I don't see why a software update would not allow BC.
