ps3 sync issue

I am sync'd to my network. with allowed sharing and firewall off.

I can see my computer, but now no videos are appearing in the folders.

any help is appreciated.

I have re-allowed and rebooted both systems and stuff
really frustrating.

this is absolutely infuriating.

PS3 plays xvid/divx without any converting and h264 with a simple remux from mkv2vob

works fine for me

Did you go into the windows media player and from there go to TOOLS>OPTIONS then LIBRARY>CONFIGURE SHARING?

then add the folder which to where your videos are?

you dont need to convert them.. my god.. it can read all XVID/MPEG's

the only problem i had was with e-athletes it wouldnt recognize the format probly due to the codecs..

its so easy with my xbox lol... i never really bothered with my ps3

problem resolved itself. some people here cant read.

it was sync'd fine, could see folders and new folders I added.
then randomly any video file would not be available.

didnt even appear in folders.

dunno why, but a few hours later it worked.

wonder if anyone else had this issue.
