my ps3 :(

I now kind of feel the pain of you 360 owners out there, my ps3 has to decided to give up on playing games :(. Now i sit and wait for my replacement from sony.

Ps3 is the same as any other piece of equipment. Take good care of it and it will last, treat it like junk and that's what it will end up being.

#2 That guy looked like he strapped his PS3 to the top of a car and done some kind of endurance rally through the australian outback. That was a case of serious serious neglect.

I wonder if any of you have been compromised since Sony's network was hacked.

You are quite unlucky, the ps3 failure rate is less than 1%.

The PS3 right now is a bunch of promises, far-off empty promises and hopes for the most part.

yeah It started with an error that froze the game, to eventually not being able to read the games. I googled it and am not the only one who has had the same problem.
and to #12 I doubt anyone on here was, as long as you are able to log in with the same account/password then you have nothing to worry about and I still am able to.

and #13 I may be one of the most unlucky person you would ever meet true story, but I wont go into that.

Edit: And Sony is sending a box and then a replacement. I have the 80GB model so I will get a 80GB back, but I read online for some of the people who had the same issue that had 60GB had to settle for 40GB replacements, or wait a while for them to get ahold of the 60gb model, that would suck.

I cover my ps3 when not in use, keeps out dust, but when you turn it off you have to let it cool first

You cover it? Lol do you play it for like 5 mins? mines in an open space and it gets *bloody god darn* hot, i think it gets hotter than the 360 but most people i know think the opposite! :S

ya 16# am the same ps3 gets hotter than my 360!!

at the time i got my ps3 i had a constant flow of games to keep buying for it not to just sit around and collect dust... till now I guess since I don't have it back yet.
