TORONTO, ON – NFL Canada today launched the search for Canada’s top EA Sports Madden Champion. Beginning tomorrow (October 27) Madden Gamers can log onto www.gamebattles.com to enter the 2009 EA Sports Madden Canadian Championships – an online video game tournament that tests the gaming skills of participants using real NFL teams, players and playbooks − utilizing Madden 10 on the Xbox 360 console.

The 2009 EA Sports Madden Canadian Championship is a ladder format on www.gamebattles.com - registration is open to residents of Canada, 14 years of age or older. The online tournament runs for four weeks with the top 8 moving onto the finals held live in Toronto on Thursday, December 3rd, 2009.

The top 8 finalists will receive:
-A trip for two to Toronto to play in the 2009 EA Sports Madden Canadian Finals (finalists under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)

Canada’s Madden Champion will win National bragging rights and an all expense-paid trip for two to an NFL game of their choice in the 2010 NFL Season.
