By: Jonathan Hoskins - Published April 12, 2008 at 9:25 AM EDT - Writer Archive
What is a hidden gem you may ask? Hidden gems are players that don't have the big overall ratings but have some attributes that can make a huge impact if they are used the right way. Check out the 10 most dangerous Hidden Gems of the game

We all know Randy Moss will give players a huge advantage on the opposing defense, and Champ Bailey will shut down even the toughest of wide receivers to defend. However, not every team is fortunate enough to have Moss, Bailey or other top players. GotFrag Madden writer Jonathan Hoskins has put together a list of the 10 players which go unnoticed and underutilized. By applying the skills of these Hidden Gems you can give yourself a huge advantage.

Anthony Mix #19 WR
Height: 6'5"
Team: Washington Redskins
Overall: 75
Key Attribute: Jump (90)
Note: At 6'5" and 90-Jump this "Gem" can get up there. He is perfect for user catching and quick passing. On next-gen systems(360 and PS3) he is great for Jetpack and Rocket Catching.

Darren Stone #39 SS
Height:6'3"
Team: Atlanta Falcons
Overall: 75
Key Attribute: Jump (94)
Note: Another tall player at 6'3" and with a Jumping attribute of 94 makes it tough for an offense to compete against him, that is if you are controlling him.

Dwayne Jarrett #80 WR
Height:6'4"

Team: Carolina Panthers
Overall: 78
Key Attribute: Jump (94) - Spectacular Catch (94)
Note: His Jetpack and Rocket Catch abilites make him fun to use.

Brandon Lloyd #85 WR
Height: 6'0"
Team: Washington Redskins (Recently acquired by Chicago Bears)
Overall: 78
Key Attribute: Spectacular Catch (98)
Note: Great for Jetpack/Rocket Catch. Lloyd and Anthony Mix make a great combination.
