For me, being able to introduce everyone to something this exciting... is well... exciting. There are many people who visit Gotfrag.com on a daily basis and know what to expect - great coverage for current and upcoming events, great information on their favorite games, in-depth interviews of their favorite players and a great staff who are expected to provide wonderful and exciting content for their beloved community. Today, Gotfrag has taken yet another step to providing for another enormous group of gamers.

For too long the world of E-sports has focused solely around PCs. The Gotfrag community has had a taste of other venues outside of computers such as a Halo department and semi-frequent articles from the Console Corner, but now Gotfrag has taken a leap into something brand new and solid. With that being said I'd like to welcome you all to the new Gotfrag DPAD Department.

Some of the members of our staff are very new to writing, however their current lack of writing superiority will be made up for in dedication and knowledge of the game until, like our community, they can grow and become more experienced. We promise to provide quality news as well as perspective and insight from all topics involving consoles. However our articles will not just cover gaming reviews, editorials and news stories, which will be informative as it is, but with the redeveloped staff of Halo department, we now have united with a larger group of coverage experts to bring you some of the most comprehensive competitive console news around. Thanks to the continued support of former and current staff, Halo will live on and a number of other popular games such as Madden, Tekken and Forza will be introduced.
