Hopefully everyone enjoyed the game (at least us NY'ers loved it) with it's ups and downs. Surely, Super Bowl 42 ended up being one of the most intense Super Bowl games of recent memory. With an amazing game between both the New England Patriots and the New York Giants, we have been left with memories of the best plays of all time.

Now let's break away from football and talk about what everyone really wants to see during the Super Bowl. Commercials! Okay, maybe it's not the only thing watched, however commercials are one of the most entertaining parts of the Super Bowl.

This year, with 30-second spots going for as much as $3 million, investors for these commercial slots surely had to step it up on the entertainment level and really grab the public. After enjoying quite a few of the commercials, I have broken down the top 5 and put up a poll on GotFrag DPAD. Now, it is time to announce the top 5 commercials from Super Bowl 42 and show them in their entirety.

1. FedEx - Pigeons
The first one being my personal favorite, I nearly cried after seeing the twist near the end.



This commercial gained 27% of all of the votes for the top Super Bowl 42 commercial.

2. Budweiser - Hank the Horse
A classic in it's own right, this commercial brought Rocky back into play as Hank the horse fought long and hard to become one of the Budweiser Clydesdale Horses. Viva Hank!



Gaining 21% of the votes, this commercial will be remembered by all!

3. Doritos - Super Rat
Obviously created with a small budget by an independent filmmaker, this commercial comes in a close third as perhaps one of the funniest commercials of the entire night. I'm sorry, but when you can't breath from laughing so hard, you know it's worth a replay.



Over 20% of our voters laughed hysterically while watching this short but sweet commercial.

4. Amp - Jump Start
Right from the start I felt that it was odd having a heavy-set mechanic dancing with jumper cables attached to his nipples. Then I realized it was for Amp energy drink and figured it was totally fine then. Maybe not but still hilarious to see this guy dance.



We had 17% of our voters choose this commercial as being one of the best.

5. Planters - "Hot Chick"
Don't let the title fool you, this is one hideous looking beast. What's amazing is how every guy wants her. Gotta love the ignorant humor in this clip, definitely a keeper.



Only 14% of our voters felt this chick was hot enough to be in the top 5.

Well your votes rocked us, and now we can look forward to more time with no script writers. Thankfully for us, sports and commercials will entertain us for the time being. Sports, commercials, and video games of course.
