Our next stop on the tour takes us to Asia, where the team from South Korea discusses language barriers among other things on this round the world tour.

First, tell us a bit about yourselves, where are you from, how long have you been playing and some hobbies other than gaming?

YongHyeon "sarafan" Baek aka The Deadly Joker: Hello, I am YongHyeon “sarafan” Baek playing DoA4 in the Seoul Jinhwa franchise. Currently I live in a country side east of Seoul called HongCheon, GangWonDo. I had been playing DoA for almost a year now after being recommended the game by the sales person that I bought Xbox 360 from. When I’m not training or playing games casually, I listen to music and play table tennis.

YeonHee "pure0528" Jeong aka The Shy Warrior: Hello, I am YeonHee “pure0528” Jeong playing DoA4 female division in the Seoul Jinhwa franchise. I am 19-years-old and live in the same province as sarafan called GangReung, GangWonDo. I had been playing DoA4 since I bought Xbox 360 so that will make it around six months now. When I’m not training or playing casually, I love to draw, read books, cartoons and watch movies.

What is it like playing on a global stage competitively in the DOA4 arena?

The Deadly Joker: Readers can see from any of the CGS tournaments on how grand the scale is. Personally I felt that unlike other tournaments, the CGS World Finals was more like a game party, meaning that not only it was a tough competition, but the players could enjoy themselves. I was very touched by the way CGS handled the players; huge prize money, awesome apartment room for the players to stay in and the Per Diem that they give out so that the players do not have to worry about monetary issue and just concentrate on the World Finals. I will especially remember the feeling that I had being under the spot light when they announce the DoA4 players on stage.
