Co-op at its finest.
Developer: EA Montreal The game revolves around two private military contractors by the name of Tyson Rios and Elliot Salem. Corporations and their stockholders that make money off war are consumers to these two gentlemen who see that war goes on between their marks. Some areas said to take place in are China, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and many more. Using money that you gain from your clients, you are able to buy weapons and customize them to the near-fullest extent. Whether it's chrome plating, an upgraded barrel, or laser sight, it all affects your gameplay. Players are able to test their newly modified weapons in the gun range mode to familiarize themselves with their weapons. An aggro-meter will be used in the game to further increase the detail of how opponents react to the choices you choose with your partner or the modifications you made to your arsenal. For instance, a silencer will reduce aggro gained and chrome plating on your weapon will increase aggro towards you, resulting in enemies focusing on you. The player with the most aggro will glow bright red while the other player will become transparent like a ghost-like figure. The game features many co-op actions that will be used frequently throughout the game. If your partner is shot, either drag him away to safety or heal him there on the spot. If he is dying, the player will have to run away from the "white light" while your partner will have to input specific commands to perform CPR, sort of like the game Shenmue's action sequences. There are various objects at the players disposal which can help them in combat such as using a car door as a shield, while your partner behind you guns down enemy soldiers, or even pushing over a fallen pillar together to be used as cover. |
