In this evil, epic action horror game, which is spun by the macabre master himself: Clive Barker -- you play as the “Jericho” squad. A team of Special Forces Occult experts, who fight against the paranormal in order to protect the U.S. The Jericho Squad learns of an ancient evil that was supposedly the first human who was created by God, and deemed marked a failure. Thus, being marked as a failed attempt of being human, God banished the creature to the abyss where it sleeps waiting for the next opening to take grasp of our world. Going from Nazi Germany to Ancient Rome, the Jericho Squad search for the main source of evil and destroy it before it gets out of hand.

In Jericho, you have to control different members of the team who have their own special abilities such as clairvoyance, alchemy, blood magic, exorcism, and telekinesis. Players must learn how to use teamwork by using the game’s communication system and their special abilities to help the team accomplish their mission in this dark gruesome game. The only downfall about their special abilities is the fact that it hurts your health. For example, when Sgt. Frank Delgado uses his burning ability it causes a burn on his arm, which inflicts health damage in real time. This also goes for Sgt. Church, the blood mage whose powers actually cause her to inflict pain on herself in order to cast it.

Demons, mythical beasts, death traps, and ancient puzzles. This looks like it’s gonna be one hell of an adventure. The story and the gameplay is so rich that if you’re a a fan of games such as Gears of War, Doom, or Halo then this is a game for you. Jericho is slated to be released this month, just in time for Halloween. Don’t play this one with the lights off.

WARNING: Due to epic violence, scary creatures, and tons of gore I would DEFINITELY not recommend this game for children.
