By now you're used to some changes on the DPAD site, so of course you saw this coming. You've seen up ramp up our coverage of Madden 2008 which is extremely exciting and promising for our competitive future. You've also see a huge push of Halo 3 content and Gears of War goodies! Not to mention a very impressive presence of Dead or Alive 4 competition coverage from our friends from DOACentral.com. As you can see we're taking a huge bite into the competitive scene and we're very happy to bring to this you!

It is also important to keep our basics in order, from game previews, editorials, features and reviews, we pride ourselves of having a well balanced taste of all there is to offer consoles. With that being said, we have yet again updated our ratings page with a fresh new design and look. We'll be implementing these new images and changes in the new couple of game reviews, so bear with us and enjoy!

4.0 - 5: Our hats go off to this game, truly a masterpiece. This game was flawless in every respect and deserves your attention as soon as humanly possible

3.0 - 3.9: This game had a very strong showing, however there could have been some minor changes to make it a home-run. A solid game indeed, and worth the purchase, but if only it had a few more options.

2.0 - 2.9: Mediocre is a strong word, this game did what it had to do and turned out as average. Don't be fooled by this rating, it has entertainment value, but its not at the level of a great caliber game.

1.0 - 1.9: You more than likely will not be recommending this game to a friend, wellwisher, aquaintance or even the deceased. Unfortunately this game lacked value in almost every way. If this game is played, it won't be for long.

0 - 0.9: Ashamed for even touching this title, it deserves our lowest ranking. The only good thing to come out of this game was the shrink wrap it came in, which you can promptly wrap around your head in hopes of suffocating yourself.
