This exciting weekend at MLG Meadowlands 2007 comes to a close for Gears of War, with several events left to complete and kick off. Last night, teams battled with their stamina after a full day of play, hoping to survive long enough to make it to today's Championship Bracket.

As expected, both LGD Black and LGD Red made it all the way through their brackets, LGD Red undefeated, and LGD Black suffering one loss. Because of this one loss, LGD was placed into the Lower Bracket where they faced vVv Vision for a bid to the Grand Finals. vVv Vision, in a surprising fashion defeated LGD Black, granting them entrance into the Grand Finals. There, they faced an undefeated LGD Red. With luck on vVv Vision's side, through the roars of the crowd, they in amazing fashion defeated LGD Red three games to nothing.
