5k online winners, proven LAN skill, but not proven yet Projected 5th 5k did great placing the way they did in MLG Charlotte. They defeated some good teams through the course of the tournament, but were swept twice by FBI The Agency and Carbon. Everyone knows that one good tournament will never prove to a team’s legacy. MLG Charlotte could be either a fluke or a stepping stone for this team. 5k will certainly have my attention come game time in the Meadowlands. If 5k can take their prior successes to the next level, watch out for the new team in town. Also mentionable Nice Like Rice: played well in Charlotte but it was not enough to get into the top four.XiT WoundZ: team who was once thought of as a consistent top five contender, things are a little murkier now. FBI Icon: strong play in Charlotte, can they improve? Pain-X, Type-Z, Time 2 Prove So what is the final word? No more are the days where Final Boss’ domination of all competition made me bored. Now there is a team who can consistently take Final Boss to their limit and beyond. Did Final Boss feel like they had something to prove at Charlotte or did Carbon get comfortable with just being good?
