With over one thousand players registered for the open Halo 2 Free For All tournament it is amazing to learn that the top 16 players will be determined in one single day. Those 16 "amateurs" will be brought up to face 16 pre-selected pros in a FFA Championship bracket to be played Saturday night after the first day of 4v4 competition.

The #1 seeded Karma will come as absolutely no surprise to anyone as he has won an incredible seven FFA tournaments in a row! As you scan down the names you'll notice that the list is almost solely comprised of recognizable players whose seedings are reflections upon a high level of represented skill.

While we have not yet learned who will prevail from the amateur bracket we can assume that they will need every ounce of skill and luck to be on Saturday night as they attempt to tackle the giants of the game. Will a relatively unknown newcomer surprise us all and top a high ranked pro? Or will everything play out as seeded and those we assume will make it to the finals will do so easily?
