MLG kicks off with its inaugural tour stop in Charlotte, NC. Where the top Halo teams in the U.S. will go head to head for a 20,000 dollar first prize. 1. Carbon – Coming off wins at the final three events of last season, they are expected to continue their domination. Although Final Boss’ roster change greatly benefits them, I don’t believe it is going to be enough to overthrow Carbon at the first event. Their teamwork is amazing, and their team shooting is beyond belief. With each player on the team able to play any role in-game when needed, Carbon will look to excel in all objective games. Coming off a few months of serious practice, Carbon has been able to overcome their weakness of team slayer on warlock and will look to give up even less games against Final Boss in the finals.2. Final Boss – They still remain in a top tier with Carbon well above the rest of the professional teams. Adding StrongSide to their roster only makes them a better team and is able to patch up any areas Saiyan was unable to help them with. They have been bootcamping and spending time together to prepare for this event as they are looking to prove they are still the number one contenders and can overthrow Carbon. If that is going to happen, Walshy’s objective game play is going to have to be stronger then ever, and the Ogre’s will need to frag better then they ever have. Don’t expect them to lose a single series until Winner’s bracket finals against Carbon.3. Str8 Rippin – They aren’t the same old Str8 anymore, it isn’t just Tsquared and his familiar old posse, he has brought some new faces onto the team and is looking to finally get back into the top two. With the addition of Legit and Naded to the team, Str8 rippin seems to have finally found the right players. With sharp playing online and constant practice they look to be up to the task to finally take down Final Boss or Carbon. Don’t expect that at the first event though, they still need more time to gel together as a team, but come Meadowlands look for them to push Final Boss and Carbon to game five of championship bracket series’. 4. Redemption – A new team, that brings four of the best players from former top eight teams. Killer N, Ramby, Fonzi and Anarchy are all amazing players and have something to prove to other professional bracket teams especially their former teams of Str8 Rippin, XiT Wounds and Storm Gaming. Not knowing much about how they will play together on LAN, expect them to ride on emotion to get them through the championship bracket. They have a lot of fire power, but haven’t been together for the longest time, but are such talented individuals that you should expect them to at least make them a top four team.Page:
