When Nintendo showed the world the Wii at E3 2006, sleeves were pulled up and a whole array of tricks were unveiled. One of those tricks, or features rather, was Wii VC (Virtual Console). VC is a service provided through the Wii that allows users to purchase, download and play classic games right on the Wii platform. Nintendo of America has been known to state that around the area of 30 or so VC games will be available in the Wii launch window, with more to be released monthly starting in January.

Today, we learn from good sources of eight more titles that will likely be made available in that launch window of November-December. According to the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), eight Wii titles published by Nintendo of America have been reviewed and given an E for Everyone rating. Those titles include...

• Duck Hunt
  
• Hogan's Alley
• Kid Icarus
• Kirby's Adventure
• Pilot Wings
• Pro Wrestling
• Punch-Out
• Wild Gunman

As of this news wire, there have been no official announcements from Nintendo of these games on the Virtual Console. However, it should be noted that Nintendo has to send their games to the ESRB to be rated before making them available. So it's probably a safe bet to say that Nintendo of America sent the ESRB these titles with the intent of distributing them, and not just for kicks.

The aforementioned eight titles join a large list of known VC downloadables in North America to bring the total game count to 39. Below you will find a list of the other 31 known VC games.
